Joyce Goettl operates widefabrics.com and also Treasures of the Heart, a long arm quilting service from her home in rural Janesville, located in southern Minnesota.

While serving her customers in the quilting profession, she felt a need for a shop especially designed for the wide fabric shopper, whether they be quilters looking for that one-pieced backing for their quilts, or home decorators for use in making bed skirts, curtains, tablecloths, etc. We also believe you will find some nice fabrics in our catalog to use in your quilt tops for your background fabric, keeping in mind you would only need to order half or less the amount your pattern calls for because of the nice wide width.
